Cubist Speaks on Driving Site Engagement
The 2012 Clinical Business Expo was held in Boston in September. The conference brings together clinical trial operations executives to collaborate and learn from leaders in drug development on how to improve clinical trial operations.
Uschi Stoutenburgh, Clinical Operations Director at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, presented her work, Utilize Social Media to Drive Sponsor and Site Engagement in a Global Clinical Trial, to the audience during a podium presentation at the meeting. Uschi spoke about gathering the sponsor, CRO and sites into a single online community. She stressed search capability and ease of use, and commented on the dual focus of engaging site staff and CRAs. Uschi shared impressive statistics with the group including very high open rates by PIs.
